Ebay is my BFF.

Hi,

Iv been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks now, but only just got round to it oops!

I recently made a nail polish purchase, these are my first OPIs, from an ebay seller here (really who wants to pay £9-10 for a bottle of nail polish!). I highly recommend buying from this seller, it cost me a total of £15 for three bottles of nail polish plus shipping!, they also arrived fast 5 days to be precise.
I got Seche Vite Fast Dry top coat, OPI suzy says feng shiu and OPI Mod about you. OPI suzy says feng shiu is a grey blue colour, unique in my eyes, and I applied 2 coats but you could get away with applying just one followed by a coat of seche vite ( not sure if this is right but I let the colour dry before applying the top coat I'v heard you should apply it when the colour is wet, has any body tried this?), it lasted a good 10 days with only minimal chipping!

Next pay day I'm planning to buy a few more (I'm hooked!). Any suggestions?

Now I'm off to paint my nails with mod about you.

Easy as pie.

Iv been looking for some natural looking false lashes for a while now and when I spied these on the MAC website I knew I had to try them out!

They are the #20 half lash and look like this,

This is the before...
...And this is the after

For some weird reason I lashes never sit well on my right eye!

I think if you were looking for a natural looking lash, or if you were starting out these are the best ones. Half lashes are a whole lot easier to apply than full strip. They make eyes open and add length to the outer corner which looks a lot more natural than length all over.

These are £8.50 from MAC.

Hope you found this helpful.

Mac...I missed you!

Can you believe it, this is my first MAC purchase of 2010!

I think alot of the collections have been a bit blah, but I'm holding out for liberty of London.

So on to the make up...

The long awaited Viva Glam Gaga. I would describe it as a light bubblegum pink, its a lustre so on first application its pretty sheer but very build able. I really like this colour and considering getting a back up (which I never do!), and if you didn't know 100% of costs go to the MAC Aids fund which I think will justify my buying another :).Duo lash adhesive and 20# Half Lashes.
Woodwinked eyeshadow pan, which is a warm goldish/brown and a Veluxe Pearl. And the 217 crease brush.
*Swatches, Woodwinked and Viva Glam Gaga*

Hope you have all had a great week so far!

Tiny Haul.

Hi, guys

So I went shopping on Saturday for a present, and got a little bit distracted :).
Debenhams had a 10% off sale that was calling my name, I only got one thing but it was a bargain!

I was looking for a loose powder to replace the one im currently using (as it is £26 a pop, ouch!) that would also double up as a foundation. Iv heard good things about Bare Minerals, i'll review this product when I get around to using it. Usually it is £45, but there was a 10% off sale so it was £40 and then I had a £5 voucher (because I have a Debenhams beauty card) so in the end it was a grand total of £35, bargain!

Then shock horror WH Smith didn't have Vouge, luckily ASDA did!

That's the end off my little haul, I was strong and resisted LUSH!

Have you recently had any good buys?

Review: LUSH BB Seaweed

.....I know, I know another lush review you say.

At first I was a bit unsure about putting a Lush product on my face, but for the purpose of beauty, i did. And I'm so glad I tried it.

Its a face mask designed for combination skin, it is light green in colour and has a fresh sent with a hint of honey.

I think this is great value for money, this is how much I had left after three uses and I would say there was 4/5 uses left ( i apply it pretty thick) and unfortunately I had to throw it away, but it does last a long time tho! Another bonus is that they operate a system similar to "Bac2Mac", collect 5 fresh face mask black pots and get one free! I apply it really thick and sit for a good 20 min to let it dry, during this time it will crumble off. Then any remaining product left on the face after the 20 min gets washed off with warm water. My skin is left fresh and soft.

Now recently Iv had a breakout, and im wondering if its because iv not been using a face mask regularly!

Next on my list is Cupcake!

What are your favourite face masks??

My Top 5 Movies

So this isn't going to be a makeup post this is just a little post, as I'm meant to be revising (naughty, naughty) but these are my top 5 movies that I can watch over and over again and not get bored, you may not of heard of some of these.

O Brother, where art thou? its not the most well known movie and it may be one of those movies where you have to watch twice to get the plot, BUT I BLOODY LOVE THIS FILM!! I've watched it so many time that I know most of the script. Its set in 1933 in Mississippi during the great depression. Plus it has George Clooney in it so whats not to love!

Sweet Home Alabama is defiantly Top 2, again its set in the deep south (I'm a sucker for the accent) and its the perfect mix of romantic, weepy moments, funny and the happy. I don't know about you but I blubber like a baby when she goes to the Coon Dog Cemetery!

Sister Act 1 and 2 is one of those Christmas movies (by this I mean its only played around that time) which is a shame, because there good films 1 is probably the best one. I've even seen it at the west end, it was nothing like the movie which in a way it didnt make it boring!

And last but not least, a classic, My Fair Lady. I love this movie as a comedy, not sure if thats how its met to be viewed, but thats what I think it is. Theres one line that I always remember "Move your bleedin arse!" it always makes me smile.

What are your favourite movies? Have you seen any of these and what do you think about them?
Love
Jess
