An everyday FOTD.

Just a quick post to hello :), iv been lacking on the blog post front lately, I would have posted a Mac haul but I felt mine would have been the same as just about everyone else's.

Products I used,

A mix of Mac Pink Rebel Lustre Drops and moisturiser to prime

Mac Patina (new fav eyeshadow!) in the crease and outer third

A Mix of Mac All Styled up and YSL Rouge Volupte No.7 Lipstick

I used the Babyliss Conical Wand to curl my hair, review (hopefully!) to follow!

To the beach I go...

I'm really pleased with everything I got in my latest haul.





The one item i was most happy about was the lipstick, I got it in the colour 'Lazy Day', which is a light pink with a subtle hint of grey, it sounds disgusting but I really like it. Its a Lustre finish so its sheer but very build able, Oh and did I forget to mention the packaging is adorable!

The last item I got from the collection where the 'Lustre Drops in Pink rebel', its a multi-purpose product to add shimmer to any liquid product. Pink rebel is a peachy/ pink with gold shimmer.



This is what I think of as one of the 'cult' Mac products, Underage lipglass. It is a milky, soft pink with minimal shimmer. Its a lipglass, so its pretty sticky in texture but lasts a while on the lips.


Bare Study Paint Pot, is a creamy, shimmery, champagne eye base. I find this product works far better than UDPP, I've actual worn this by its self for the past few days and it is a quick and easy way to add a splash of colour.

Products Im loving right now!

Hello,
Feels like ages since Iv written anything (probably because it is!)

First thing I'm loving, 2 cheek products. MAC well dressed blush, I don't know why I didn't buy this sooner! It gives the cheeks a nice flush of colour without to much work, i.e a slap on and go product :). Next Mac Shell Pearl beauty powder, Iv been reaching alot for this product and I don't usually wear highlighter on a regular basis.
Now seeing as its going to be summer soon, I thought I would break out the bright-summer colours. Mac Made with love, this was released last year in the colour crafted collection, it is a bright sheer coral/pink. It looks lovely dabbed on the lips.

Love it or Hate it. I love it! And its back on are screens tonight (19th) yay! I missed the first several episodes so bought my self half of season 1, to catch up.

So where have I been, well its exam season and I've been trying to cram in coursework and as much revision as possible (this isn't what I'm loving right now!). Art has been taking over my life for ages and now Spanish as crept up on me as well! My first art exam is this Thursday, wish me luck!

I'm hoping to pre-write several blog posts, and upload them gradually!

Give me Liberty.

A small Mac haul. I mentioned in a previous post that I was really excited for the Liberty of London, but to be honest I only got 2 things.

Not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing?!

Well heres what I got from the collection,

Shell pearl beauty powder, I have to admit that I first got this because of the packaging * hides face*, but I'm glad I bought it. It is a finally milled peach powder with gold iridescent.

I know Mac Polishes can be a bit hit and miss, and this isnt the best nail polish Iv had but all it takes is 2 good coats for good coverage. Blue India is a grey blue, similar to OPI suzi says feng shui but darker.

I then bought 2 things from the permanent line.

Well Dressed blush, is a pale cool toned pink and is a satin finish. Sable eyeshadow pan which is a plumy brown with gold iridescent.

Easy as pie.

Iv been looking for some natural looking false lashes for a while now and when I spied these on the MAC website I knew I had to try them out!

They are the #20 half lash and look like this,

For some weird reason I lashes never sit well on my right eye!

I think if you were looking for a natural looking lash, or if you were starting out these are the best ones. Half lashes are a whole lot easier to apply than full strip. They make eyes open and add length to the outer corner which looks a lot more natural than length all over.

Mac...I missed you!

Can you believe it, this is my first MAC purchase of 2010!


I think alot of the collections have been a bit blah, but I'm holding out for liberty of London.


So on to the make up...



The long awaited Viva Glam Gaga. I would describe it as a light bubblegum pink, its a lustre so on first application its pretty sheer but very build able. I really like this colour and considering getting a back up (which I never do!), and if you didn't know 100% of costs go to the MAC Aids fund which I think will justify my buying another :).Duo lash adhesive and 20# Half Lashes.
Woodwinked eyeshadow pan, which is a warm goldish/brown and a Veluxe Pearl. And the 217 crease brush.

My Favourite Nail Polish

Hi guys,

Iv been lacking in ideas for posts lately, so I thought I would do one of my favourites. A day never goes by when I'm not wearing nail polish I know your meant to let your nails breath but I hate the look of my nails without polish and these are the ones that I find my self reaching for the most.

My very sophisticated storage system a nails inc box I was given a couple of Christmases ago.

The first picture would of been a bottle of Rimmel Black Nail Polish, but I've lost it :(. This is my go to nail polish I think I probably wear it to much, but I find that it goes with everything and can be worn all year round.

Mac Nail polish in Cool Reserve ( sorry but its an LE)

Other than Black this is my go to colour, it is so versatile. Another plus is that I got so many compliments about, I didn't think people noticed that much. Its a gorgeous dirty pale lavender and is a cream finish.

Next is a colour I usually wear in the summer,

Revlon 093 Tropical Temptation it is a coral cream formula with no shimmer. It goes on smoothly and only needs one coat.

A 'Classic' red, Rimmel I love Lasting Finish 030 Double Decker Red, is just that. It is a cream finish (just realised there all cream finish :)), I only need one coat and it lasts a long time (hence the name) even without a topcoat. Another feature is the short brush which also easy control.

This is a definate fall/winter colour its Nails inc polish in Chester sq. Its a deep red/ marron/ rust colour with a hint of pink it is such a unique colour. Unlike all the others this is a more sheer colour but its very buildable.

Last but not least my favourite top coat, RapiDry Top Coat by OPI, I actually dont own any opi apart from this one but I will be buying some soon. I think the reason why i love this so much is its consistancy, it has a thick gel like texture which makes it easy to apply a nice even coat, drys quickly and makes nail polish chip free for a long time. This is only a mini bottle (3.75 ml) but i will be buying a full size when this is finished.
