Review: Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil-free Make-up Remover.

First off I have to sorry for being so MIA lately, but I've had soo much work to do.

Whilst wandering the aisles of ASDA I spotted this out of the corner of my eye.

I love Neutrogena, it doesn't break me out and very affordable.

Its an oil-free make up remover, it kind of looks like moisturiser. I apply some product to a cotton pad and dot it around my face, and then wipe it away along with the make-up, I would say it removes 95% of my make-up. Then I carry on with the rest of my skincare routine.

The only problem I have with this product is that it states that it is an eye make-up remover, well a bit of the product got in my eye the other day and it wasn't a pleasant experience! So all I do is use a seperate eye make-up remover.

So all in all I think this is a good make-up remover!

REVIEW: Benefits High Beam

I am now a Benefit addict, all it took was one product!

If I were to pick just one highlighting product it would have to be this one, it is easy to work with and has a nice overall colour. I use it in a C-shape on my cheek-bones and up onto my temples, it gives my a nice dewy glow.

It is pink toned with a metallic sheen, whereas Moon beam is more gold in colour. The packaging its self is a plain glass bottle with High Beam printed on, it looks a lot like a nail polish bottle with the brush applicator.

I paid £17.50 from Boots, would I repurchase again? Well yes, it is pricey but hopefully this bottle should last me a long time. I will be purchasing other products from the Benefit range.

Swapping is Fun! / Review: Stila eye kajal in Topaz

Hi guys,
So I have been a member of Makeupalley for awhile and I used to send emails but only a few replied (that really annoys me). And I finally got around to posting a few items for swaps, about a week ago, and within a few hours someone contacted me asking if they would like to swap. And I said yes! I swapped a Limited edition Mac Lipstick for a Stila eye kajal in Topaz.

*My extras, a perfume sample and a purple German drugstore eyeliner*
Topaz has a nice creamy consistency and glides on smoothly, it reminds me of the Urban Decay 24/7 liners. The colour is a peachy/ nude colour, it is designed to be applied on the waterline and make the eyes appear brighter and less harsh than a white eyeliner.

* Left eye has Topaz on the waterline, right eye has nothing*

* Stila eye kajal in Topaz swatch*

Would I recommend Stila eye kajals? Yes, I cant wait to try more!
Would I recommend Makeupalley? Yes, its so much fun, a great way to try products (and I'm still on the look out for Mac Colour Crafted Lipstick!).

Review: Lush French Kiss Bubble Bar

Hi guys,
One of my favourite products from Lush has to be their bubble bars im slowly making my way through them all, and last night i tried another. The french kiss bubble bar,

It is a purple and white, tear drop shape bubble bar with a lavender sprig stuck into the top (mine broke of in transit :( ). One thing I have to mention about the shape, where as the typical bubble bars are a rectangle shape, this ones shape makes it harder to brake in half (i had to get a knife). The scent is hard to describe it smells of Lavender with something else, lush describe it as 'Lavender, rosemary and thyme' I can't smell it, but it smells nice. It almost has a calming effect I used this before I went to bed and felt very relaxed after.

*SO Pretty*

This product gives the water a nice purple tint, and mounds of bubbles. Iv heard a few people say that this turned there water oily, but that didn't happen to me, it gave the water a nice silky feel and felt very moisturising.

Would I repurchace, yes and no. Reasons, well the smell is lovely and I like the moisturising feel but the price puts me off, its £3.85 for 100g where as the comforter is £3.95 for 200g, I know its not much but it soon adds up!

I would give this product a 3/5.

My Everyday Makeup

Hi,
This is going to probably be a boring post, but im going to do it anyways:)
This is the makeup I wear most days when im going to school, so it looks quite plain and simple. If im going out or its the weekend ill dress it up with eyeshadow.

First I apply a moisturiser, I use Neutrogena visibly clear oil-free moisturiser, and let it sink in. Then I use a medium coverage foundation, my favourite is Dior Forever. Before I put on my powder, I use my concealer (Loreal Touche Magique), my brow kit (Urban Decay Brow Box) and set them with a clear mascara (Miss Sporty Just Clear Mascara), then apply Carmex lipbalm and finaly if im using a cream blush (Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in 14 soft pink) I apply it using a MAC 187.

I then set all of that with my powder (DiorSkin Nude) using a MAC 181. I contor with my Loreal Glam Bronze in Blonde Harmony using a jelly pong pong brush.
I apply my eyeliner (Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero) to my water line, curl my lashes and then apply a couple of coats of Max Factor False Lash Effect in black.
And then to finish apply some lipstick and/or Lipgloss.

Sorry its so long and if you'v made it to the end you deserve a reward!

Reviews: Cuticle Care Products

Hi guys,
When I was younger I had a horrible habit of bitting my cuticles, i never bit my nails tho, they get really dry and crack in the winter. To treat this I have a number of different products. Each one different in there own way.

This is the cheapest of the three, I picked it up in Sallys it was about £5-6 for 50ml, and it is the one I like least. It does hydrate my cuticles quickly, but with its greasy feel it would have to be used at night, and I like to apply cuticle products through out the day. Also the applicator is a pump which I feel is wrong for this kind of product as you need the smallest amount, and with the pump it is hard to control how much product it disperses.

And Lush does it again. This is an amazing product, it has a thick moose consistency and sinks into the skin quickly. Not only can it be used on cuticles but on elbows, knees and feet, always a plus. I only have the trial size but the full size costs £5.50 for 50g. The only thing that puts me off the product is the lemony scent, but thats my personal opinion.

Last but not least Christian Dior Creme Abricot, its has a thick gloppy consistency and a apricot scent. Although it doesn't have the added advantages of being multi-purpose like Lush's lemony flutter, it is super concentrated so a little goes a VERY long way which takes me on to the price. I got this for £14 as there was a special offer on, normal I think it costs about £16 for 10g, it does seem alot but iv had this pot for about 8 months and hardly made a dent.
My conclusion would be if Lemony Flutter and Creme Abricot had a baby it would be the perfect product!
